🌟 Purpose

At PDW Stores, we’re passionate about helping young golfers grow.
The PDW Junior Golf Support Programme provides long-term support through sponsorships, equipment assistance, and youth events across New Zealand.

​

💰 Annual Sponsorship

We contribute around NZD 10,000 per year in cash and golf products to support junior players through:

• Financial Grants – help with entry fees, travel, and coaching.

• Equipment Support – quality pre-owned or new clubs, bags, rangefinders, and accessories.

• Event Hosting – friendly matches, skills clinics, and junior golf camps.

🎯 Eligibility & Selection

• Age: 10–18, residing in New Zealand

• What we look for: passion, sportsmanship, and commitment

• Selection: jointly reviewed by PDW Stores and partner golf clubs, based on performance, potential, and character

🗓️ Timeline

• Programme runs: March – November each year

• New recipients announced: every December

• Support types: cash, equipment, or event participation

✅ Compliance & Governance

We take youth safety and fairness seriously. Our programme aligns with Sport NZ and Golf New Zealand guidelines, including:

• Child Safeguarding: designated safeguarding representative, awareness training, and clear reporting processes

• Parental Consent & Codes: written consent for minors; all participants, parents, and volunteers follow our conduct codes

• Sponsorship & Tax: transparent agreements outlining purpose, deliverables, and record-keeping under IRD guidance

• Charity & Public Benefit: activities focus on amateur sport and community benefit

• Prizes & Amateur Status: all awards follow R&A / USGA amateur rules and local club caps

• Inclusion: open participation in line with Sport NZ inclusion principles

PDW Stores will work with host clubs to co-review safeguarding and governance policies. All sponsorship records are maintained for compliance purposes.
